On September 13, 2014, Blue Dog Bakery attended Strut Your Mutt in Salt Lake City, Utah. Check out the recap by Nicole Wood, who was the lead brand ambassador! for this event!

"This was our third year at Strut our Mutt, and as always, it did not disappoint! This year was by far the busiest we have seen; there were more pups and owners than you can imagine!

A fun, unique thing to this year's Strut Your Mutt was the Owner and Dog Costume Contest. An award was given to the best dressed dog & owner in matching costumes. There was quite a variety of costumes and it was fun to see the pride people take in being a dog owner. (See image)

The Blue Dog Bakery treats were an absolute hit (no surprises there)! Big dogs, little dogs, all shapes and sizes enjoyed the take home treats and were excited to see us at our booth. People also loved the Blue Dog Bakery waste dispenser bags that attached right to their dog's leash. The most frequently heard comments were that these were "genius" and "convenient".

Our favorite thing was getting to talk to loyal Blue Dog Bakery consumers about how much they appreciate our high quality products and how safe they feel giving them to their dogs. It's great to be part of a brand that cares so much about their consumers and their pets.

Overall, Strut Your Mutt SLC was a great success in 2014. We had an amazing time and were delighted to represent such an awesome company.

On June 8, 2014, Blue Dog Bakery attended the Furry 5K event in Seattle, Washington. Our lovely Brand Ambassador, Wendy Marshall, did a wonderful job of recapping the day for us!

"The day was cool and beautiful for the 15th Annual Seattle Furry 5K Fun Run and Walk event held at Seward Park on June 8, 2014.

Thousands of pet owners and pet lovers came with their dogs to raise money for a worthy cause and they got to have fun while doing it. It was an awesome experience to see all of the support. Dogs came to the event in everything from colorful bandanas and sunglasses to riding in backpacks and strollers.

The ‘On-The-Go-Pack’ received in the attendees racing goodie bags made them want to pick up more Blue Dog Bakery treats at our booth. True to our word, the tasty all-natural healthy Blue Dog Bakery treats were irresistible. With the $1 off coupon, they could purchase their new favorite treats in 8 stores around the Puget Sound.

We met many people who would simply not allow their dogs to try anything else but Blue Dog Bakery. Loyal for life! They were happy to talk about their challenges in finding the perfect treats. One of our favorite moments was when a very feisty finicky eater tried the soft peanut butter flavored Softie. He devoured it, then couldn’t get enough, then jumped on the table to find more.

Seattleites love their pets and love to have fun! Our booth was situated right under a tree so it was a great place to hang out, try new dog treats and meet new friends. Everyone enjoyed being caught up in the hubbub of excitement, and to discover Blue Dog Bakery is made right here in Seattle. There was even greater excitement knowing that they could sign up for our newsletter, receive more coupons, and win a year’s worth of yummy treats.

It was a wonderful day and we enjoyed every person and every dogs’ company. Everyone that came to our booth absolutely loved Blue Dog Bakery and they all left the event well primed with new treats to share with their furry friends."

Blue Dog Bakery attended Woofstock in Toronto, Ontario  on May 24, 2014. Here is what Brand Ambassador, Marina Sarovic , had to say about the day!

"The morning of Saturday May 24th was the beginning of a 2-day dog festival called "Woofstock." The event was held at the beautiful Woodbine Park in Toronto, Canada. By 10AM tents were set up all over the park, and dogs, with their respective dog owners, were beginning to fill up the grounds. The weather was perfect as our team of Brand Ambassadors started talking to people who came to visit the Blue Dog Bakery booth; whose yellow booth stood out amongst the sea of the plain white tents. Visitors were happily taking samples of Blue Dog Bakery's all natural, human-grade, fresh baked in the USA treats. Dog owners over the course of this weekend really displayed how much they cared for their pets; asking questions about ingredients, allergens, and even factory location.

A question that came up quite often was one in regards to the human-grade ingredients. Countless times we were asked whether we would eat them to which we replied "Of course" and took a bite! Some visitors immediately threw a treat in their mouths to try it after hearing that these treats are made on the same line as cookies for people. "If it is good enough for my dog, it is good enough for me!" joked one of the visitors. At one point there was a circle of five or six visitors and brand ambassadors all munching down on dog treats—could you imagine?? People who tried the treats noted that they are low in sugar and do not taste bad at all and definitely smell great compared to other dog foods that are on the market.

Amidst this very crowded weekend, we saw another crowd break out on Saturday. Olivia Chow, a currently running mayoral candidate for Toronto, came through to visit Woofstock and ended up coming by our booth. She was very busy answering questions regarding the election, but she told us how she loves dogs and had three throughout her life and some took pictures with us!

Other great moments we captured in pictures are puppies putting their paws up on the table to reach our samples! It was an amazing fun filled sunny weekend with lots of smiles and happy puppies!"
