February 18, 2013 – Orlando, FL – Blue Dog Bakery returns to the Global Pet Expo for its second consecutive year to unveil a fully evolved display booth to the pet industry. After launching new packaging in 2012, the rebrand displays a new modern look that is reflective of both the company and itsproducts.  This year the Blue Dog Bakery booth is located in space 1015 and will feature the new packaging, product samples and tastings.

The packaging, which hit retailer shelves last July, is credited for a momentous increase in weekly sales. Prior to the change, the old packaging was dated with no significant change in sales. Sales data from a leading national retailer shows a phenomenal 18.4% increase in weekly sales after the redesign was introduced to the pet aisle. 

“We are thrilled by the consumer response to the packaging change,” said Eric Koppelman, Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “The new packaging takes our brand to the next level and has given us the opportunity to go head to head with larger brands. We anticipate seeing continued growth as a result.”
