The early bulbs are up and giving us the first color of spring! Now I know this is of no interest to those of you still buried under feet of snow across the country, but have faith - spring will come your way one of these days! You will soon be able to run and play without heavy coats, mufflers, mittens, hats and boots.

Treats at Wal-Mart nationwide starting in MARCH
Starting in mid-March, we will be selling our PB
& Molasses, PB Doggie Paws and our NEW
100 Calorie Packs - PB at most Wal-Mart stores across the country.
Our NEW 100 Calorie Packs - PB will make their national debut there. These new
treats are convenient, portable, portion controlled packs containing
10 treats = 100 calories. And they are really cute!
Our 6 lb PB & Molasses treats will be available just for the month of MARCH at Sam's Clubs in CA, AZ, CO as a test. If all goes well, you may find them across the country at Sam's Clubs. We will keep you posted.

Bear Story
This incredible saga takes place on the Old Donner Pass Highway Bridge overlooking
Donner Lake along Route 80.
Someone was photographing the bridge from a distance when, incredulously, they
observed this enormous brown bear leisurely walking atop the bridge rail. A
moment later, it lost its balance and fell over the side. Miraculously, the
bear caught the truss with its sharp claws and strong forearms. Pulling itself
onto the narrow ledge, assessing the difficult, if not dire situation, and realizing
that an obvious solution to its dilemma was not evident, what better action
to take than to...take a nap.
Becoming aware of the situation, concerned citizens attempted a rescue but were
hampered by rapidly approaching nightfall.
The next morning, the bear was still to be found napping.
As the pictures will indicate, the bear was ultimately rescued in grand fashion.
An enormous safety net was placed beneath the bridge and bear. The bear was
tranquilized and fell into the net where he was suspended midair over the chasm.
Eventually, he was placed gently onto the ground, regained consciousness, and
sauntered off to seek new horizons.
The moral to the story? If one is not clear as to what direction to take, perhaps
its best to take a nap and wait for the solution to come to you.
