“Always start out the day with a good breakfast!”

Howdy from Blue Dog Bakery – October 2006 newsletter

Blue Dog has a wonderful friend with two new books that we thought you might enjoy. Good Morning America’s vet Dr. Marty Becker’s Why to Dogs Drink out of the Toilet and Do Cats Always Land on Their Feet? tell funny, fantastic, quirky and downright bizarre things that most people don’t know about their pets. Marty, who loves our Blue Dog “doggie cocaine like” treats is very entertaining, a great voice for pets and pet wellness and a really nice person whom we love to support.

You can go to www.petconnection.com/specialoffer to learn about two brand-new books that answer your most perplexing pet questions, both the practical and the off-the-wall. They are also giving away over $100 in free goodies with this kick off including a quiz on how to figure out if your pet is overweight/obese. See attachments for view of book covers.

Since October is Pet Wellness Month, Marty also has another great book on getting you and your dog in shape called Fitness Unleashed. It has great information and ideas on how you and your pet can stay in shape. Information on this book can be found on Amazon.com.

We at Blue Dog Bakery encourage everyone to walk more, play harder, watch what you and your pet eat and by all means have more FUN! Fall is here, the leaves are starting to change, the wind is blowing and it is a great time to put on a coat and go outside!

Note from a Blue Dog fan – has this happened to you also?

“Just yesterday we had another "cookie" incident! On a hike on a
perfect fall afternoon, Max stuck right by my side -- Usually I'm being
dragged along at the end of the long leash, or worse, wrapped around a
tree if there's a squirrel/deer/fox or anything else that moves to be
checked out. I thought, oh, how nice he wants to walk right next to me.
Well, turns out I forgot I had some of your cookies in my pocket and THAT
was the reason. Oh well! It was still a wonderful walk, and he got a few
cookies along the way!”

Andrea

Have a wonderful fall! Margot
