Happy Holidays from Blue Dog Bakery!

Seattle rarely gets snow, but this weekend we, and much of the rest of the country, were blanketed in snow. What a treat, though it was short lived and now we are in wadding through deep puddles and lots of rain. But, I guess you all expect that from us up here in the NW!

We wish you all the happiest of holidays for you and yours. May your days we filled with the smells of cookies baking in the oven, of friends coming by to visit and of good long walks with your 4 legged best friends. I am sure there will be presents shared by all. (I always wonder how those doggies tie those package bows so well).

Stuart Brown describes Norbert Rosing's striking images of a wild polar bear playing with sled dogs in the wilds of Canada's Hudson Bay.

The photographer was sure that he was going to see the end of his huskies when the polar bear materialized out of the blue, as it were:

Obviously it was a well-fed Bear...

The Polar Bear returned every night that week to play with the dogs!
